Our movie night at the hospital was excellent. The movie,
"Christmas Vacation"
gave us some laughs. Subsequently, Walt was allowed to complain about his physical state and his perceived lack of progress. After we got that out of the way we had a very nice conversation. I'll share just a few memorable moments from that conversation. He is extremely pleased with St. Mary's hospital and the staff. He said many loving things about his family (he is on the phone with Patty in the picture you see here). Lastly, he shared an absolutely accurate, but somewhat unflattering observation about one of our friends that convinces me that he has good humor, keen insight and continues to recover well. The evening ended with a promise to schedule another movie night. Bravo!

I am glad movie night went well. Walt was concerned yesterday as how it would happen as he knew he didn't have a video or DVD player in his room. More indication of his reasoning processes. It is a nice surprise to see a current picture of Walt too. Love your work Gino.
What a wonderful surprise to see Walter up, alert and talking to the love of his life. We're thrilled to see the progress he has been making. It's evident that he has great friends, and the best family ever.

I got permission to give Walter Arbys roast beef. He had a bite and said he couldn't eat it right now because he was too full from dinner, so he has 2 for lunch whenever. Think of something else you would like to eat, and we will ask your bosses if it's OK Walt.
I get such a blast reading everyone's comments on the blog. I hear from so many people that I am not the only one that checks the blog daily to see what the latest news is. Very Cool.
