This note is from Patty
To our precious family nurse-Linda-Yes, I did ask the doctor about SJS and she said that he does not have it. I just want to comment on how my day went. I have not seen Walter open his eyes or communicate with me since Sunday (one of the 3 days from hell). But today he did open his eyes for me 4 times and nodded yes when I asked him if he was OK. This really puts in perspective when someone asks you "How was your day" Oh this driver maybe cut you off or the line was a little too long in Wegmans and you had to wait. But seeing how Walter's days have been the past month makes us all appreciate life so much more and please treasure every day and kiss the ones you love and tell them you love them so. Because life can change "in an instant" Go Walter GO!!!!!!!!

Dear Patty and Family:
We have been keeping updated on Walter's condition through the Walt Watch blog site. As you know with the many grandkids that we have, someone is always sick and passing it around including us.
We do not want to pass anything to your family and are grateful to have the Walt Watch blog and check it every day.
Also with the possibility of shoulder surgery in the coming days for myself, we have been busy going to one doctor after another, but this is not about us, this is about Walter and his fight to get well.
We have been praying for him daily as well as our family who asks about him constantly.
Patty, Lindsey, Brian and Stevie, hang in there as we have seen these things turn around for the better as a friend of ours went through this same thing.
We will continue to read the blogs and want you to know that we are praying for all of you.
Walter, do you remember our Badminton games?????? We still remember but we are too old for that anymore. Ha Ha.

Dear Patty, You are an angel. Walt is so lucky to have you. I am really glad he does not have SJS but I wanted to make sure because I did not want him to have yet one more problem and I just want to see him as comfortable as possible. Love to you, Walt, Linds and Brian. Linda
Patty, Lindsey, and Brian
You remain in my prayers. Thank you for the blog info, what a terrific idea. Please let me or any of us know if we can do anything for you.
Janet
